Quick verdict
We compared the two brands on what you can check before you buy: published prices, face and core specs, shipping, return rules and warranty. This is a research-based comparison. We haven’t tested either brand’s paddles hands-on. Selkirk’s line is large, so we focused on its paddles priced from $100 to $200.

What $100 gets you
At $100, CPX sells a carbon-face paddle: the Air (T700 raw carbon, 16mm) at $99.97 or the Pro (3K raw carbon, 19mm) from $99.97. Selkirk’s main $100 options are its AMPED line, currently marked down from $160–$200, and the SLK Geo. The AMPED Pro Air uses a fiberglass face (FiberFlex+), according to retailer PickleballCentral.
If you specifically want a raw carbon face at this price, CPX gives you that. If you prefer the feel of fiberglass, Selkirk’s AMPED line is worth considering.
